Our standards and policies The way we work is as important as what we do. 1. Confidentiality Link-Age recognises that it is essential that any service offering advocacy and information ensures confidentiality to its users.Link-Age will never pass on information about a user unless they have the specific permission of the person concerned. If a user is deemed to be or appears to be incapable of giving consent they should still be involved to the best of their ability. In gathering statistics the experience of Link-Age can be used as a resource but no individual cases should be identifiable without the expressed consent of the user. 2.
